I have a new installation: Atmel Studio 7 (7.0.1417) + Visual Micro (Arduino IDE for Atmel Studio 7 - 1704.3.0) + Arduino 1.8.2. Target board: NodeMCU V1 4M (3M SPIFFS)

Everything works fine, but I can't upload files from "\data" folder to SPIFFS with "Publish Server Data Files" because AS7 can't find "ESP8266FSUpload.exe". I tried to search it on my system drive, but no result.

Any idea how to solve this? Thank you for the help!

Hi,

It seemed rude to install a program that contains the name of a competitor of Atmel but also the Atmel Studio is supposed to be for Atmel hardware and the Visual Studio IDE for all hardware.

If you are a small business or individual you can use Visual Studio Community for free.

other tips

The Visual Micro extension for Visual Studio is a .vsix file. .Vsix files are zip files so you can find the esp8266fsupload.exe.

The visual micro install folder can be seen in the IDE in "tools>options>visual micro>version>assembly location"
