Serial Monitor Input Issue

I've got a problem with the 'user input'.

Lets say I send 'GetData', but realize that I real wanted to send 'getData'. Lower case 'g' instead of 'G'.

If I now enter 'getData' VM replaces it with the original error 'GetData' from the drop down box.   I can't find a way to delete 'GetData' short of closing Vis Studio.

How can I enter the correct value?  Or delete the bad one?

Tks,
John

Yes that's a pain! thanks for the reminder we will change that in  anew release over the next week or so.

Currently we use the automatic Microsoft suggestions control which doesn't cater for different case correctly. Sorry

Hi john k2ox,

one thing you may try is this: when the unwanted suggestion appears under the list box, bring the cursor over it and hit Del on the keyboard. Can't tell if that will work here, but it works in some Microsoft programs like Outlook for example.
