Before logging an issue, please update to the latest release of Visual Micro from the Downloads Page.

When Logging a Support Issue in the Forum, please ensure you have also:-

  • Enabled vMicro > Compiler > Show Build Properties
  • Re-Compile your program with these settings enabled
 
Save the new Output to a Text File and....
  • Click the Reply button and attach as .txt file OR
  • Click here to Email us with the file attached, and a link to your post
Support requests without the output above may be impossible to answer, so please help us to help you

For what it's worth this is one of the two reasons I'm not purchasing any copies of this software.

The other is that everything related to this plugin uses an absolute path (which, like the library issue, makes it very hard to share a project between machines).

These things make it very hard to setup a project so that I can help my father remotely and so we're better off not using the software.

I'm not sure I understand. Recent versions use relative paths for the project or should do. Please give examples and also which ide, versions etc.

edit: plus any auto gen paths should be re-written when the project is opened and any files included in the project can be included by you using the standard visual studio "add or add existing" commands.
