Problems with Libraries (Solved by selecting board)

This time I have compilation problem Visual Micro cannot locate a library: ESP8266WiFi.h!
This is a basic example of the ESP core that compile with no problem with the IDE 1.6.5
The library is part of the platform core libraries (I don't know the path and it is also not known by the compiler: if I try with ...Add Library .... the platform related libraries are not shown!

Strange but if I right click on the name and I "open named file" Visual Studio find and open the file!

This library location procedure is very difficult to understand at least to me!

VM         30-1-2016 release
Platform ESP8266 NodeMCU 1.0
Ide        1.6.5
code      WiFiWebServer.ino example of ESP8266WiFi library

No probs, thanks for the update.

By the way 1602.7 is released. Arduino has been fast moving in the last couple of months so it's good to keep up to date if you do hit anything strange.
