Before logging an issue, please update to the latest release of Visual Micro from the Downloads Page.

When Logging a Support Issue in the Forum, please ensure you have also:-

  • Enabled vMicro > Compiler > Show Build Properties
  • Re-Compile your program with these settings enabled
  		Save the new Output to a Text File and....
  • Click the Reply button and attach as .txt file OR
  • Click here to Email us with the file attached, and a link to your post
Support requests without the output above may be impossible to answer, so please help us to help you

Is personal license (1 machine) switchable between PCs ?

So my situation is I'm developing project on my home PC and when everything is done I'll grab my old and terrible notebook (reason why I develop on powerful desktop) and upload project in the field and possibly debug it. 

Question: can I use one single purchased personal license for my situation? Is license transferable?

Hi,

Sorry but the license system isn't flexible enough for that.

Thanks for quick reply. OK, another question. I'll install that license on that notebook. Once I'll decide to toss that notebook out and buy a new one. Will I be able to re-install that license on new notebook? What should I do in that case?

Can transfer but never back to a previously used machine. I try to avoid it because it's a lot of time for me for the sake of users spending 10gbp more for 3 licences Smiley
