Before logging an issue, please update to the latest release of Visual Micro from the Downloads Page.

When Logging a Support Issue in the Forum, please ensure you have also:-

  • Enabled vMicro > Compiler > Show Build Properties
  • Re-Compile your program with these settings enabled
  		Save the new Output to a Text File and....
  • Click the Reply button and attach as .txt file OR
  • Click here to Email us with the file attached, and a link to your post
Support requests without the output above may be impossible to answer, so please help us to help you

Activation on same Computer after new Installation of OS

I'm tired of not been able to activate VisualMicro because there is no Identification of the used PC. If Anybody is reinstalling his PC or the PC-Name has changed, the Activation does not work anymore (Activation Limit exceeded). This is boring... It would be great if the Activation Process takes Care of the used Computers Identity. I always use the same PC, just another Instance for Testing (Sandbox), so it is not used multiple times (and I purchased the 3PC Version!) Sad

Hi,

Thanks for the post. Yes it's also annoying for me to have to help so many people with resets by email. I wish the license key system I bought used MAC address by default but it didn't.

I will change when time permits however Arduino, Microsoft, Atmel, Esp have been making so many changes over the past year or so that the time has been available.

Will do as soon as poss. Don't forget to email visual micro if you need a reset.
