Not heard that one before.

Maybe post screen shot before and after so we can see what problem you are having and why you feel a re-scan is required.

Thanks

Please switch on vmicro>compiler>verbose and "vmicro>compiler>show build properties". Then email the output to info[at]visualmicro.com along with a link to this post.

Sorry, I thought I had answered and I have been wondering where your response is Smiley

The issue is that Visual Micro is hitting an error when loading because it can't find some configuration that it thinks it needs.

The request I have made shows me your configuration so I can get some idea of which board, tool chain and generally what you have installed and what board you are using.

Most people don't give hardware and ide versions when they make reports and the configuration is different depending on what has been installed, so the report I have asked for avoids me having to ask lots of questions.

Thanks for the info.

Can you try these things to help identify the issue...

1) You have an old version of arduino ide installed but a newish avr tool chain has been installed in board manager. Either uninstall the 1.6.17 arduino avr package from board manager or install the latest arduino ide. then restart atmel studio. Does this resolve?

or

2) Change the Visual Micro Application from "Arduino 1.6/1.8" to "Visual Micro". Select your board then restart the ide and see if that solves the issue.

Thanks
