Bricked my Arduboy

Well I noticed the every time I compile and upload it shows how much space is used.
Like this:
Program size: 26,780 bytes (used 93% of a 28,672 byte maximum) (3.83 secs)
Minimum Memory Usage: 1584 bytes (62% of a 2560 byte maximum)

So I assumed if I went over the limit it will just tell me and not upload.
But Wrong.
It only showed.
Minimum Memory Usage: 1584 bytes (62% of a 2560 byte maximum)
Then uploaded and my device is no longer responding.
USB connection can no longer be made
I've open my program on the regular Arduino editor and compiled
It showed me this
Sketch uses 30750 bytes (107%) of program storage space. Maximum is 28672 bytes.

I found a way to fix it but I need to buy some equipment now, to do a "Burn Bootloader".

I wanted to let someone know here so this bug can be fixed.

Thank you

Thanks I will look into that.

You don't need to buy special hardware. You can upload the Arduino as ISP sketch to any arduino board and then use it as a programmer to program the ArduBoy.

The Arduino as ISPis quite popular and works well. If you don't have another Arduino board that might be a better investment than a dedicated programmer.
