Why 'searching for libraries' and 'compiling libraries' each time?

I have noticed when I compile my Arduino projects in VS 2017 CE, I always see 'searching for libraries' and 'compiling libraries', even though I haven't changed any library-connected code.  Any way to skip these steps so my test iterations can be faster?

TIA,

Frank

It's not clear from your report what you are seeing. Switch on vMicro>compiler>verbose then build and post the output as a .txt so we can see what you are looking at.
