Apply Visual Studio 2015 to VS 2017

Print Post
I purchased a license last year when using Visual Studio 2015 Community.  A month, or so, ago I installed Visual Studio 2017 Community and deleted VS2015 without removing or deleting the Visual Micro license.  In trying to apply the license to VS2017, it does not seem to "take".  That is, I click on the '...', enter the license key, but the key does not appear in the box, as I expect it should.

Is there some procedure I should do differently?

Thanks.

It won't show you the key but activation should remain unless you upgraded windows.

what does it say in tools>options>visual micro>application features>license status

License status is REGISTERED.

I did upgrade Windows since I purchased the license on this machine.  It looks like the registration stuck.

Sorry I missed this. Yes windows upgrade means you need to email info@visualmicro.com (or the email in the purchase receipt) for a reset.

Did you do that? Did we sort this out?
