I have developed a number of small applications using arduino for visual studio and the Serial Monitor has been working absolutely fine.  Now it has stopped working, the monitor displays itself and I get the green connected message also the port open and closed messages in the main body.  But the output from the arduino board does not appear.  If I use the original arduino development environment and connect that serial monitor to the same COM port then the output is displayed correctly.  I have also installed the terminal add on for Atmel studio and again this works fine.  I have checked the baud rate, parity etc and all appear identical.  I have recently upgraded to version 6.2 but not sure it is connected.  Has anyone any ideas?
