How to install support for Teensy boards?

Hi folks,

I did some dev work with my Teensy LC, earlier in the year with Visual Micro for Visual Studio.

I had to wipe and reinstall my dev machine. I installed the latest Visual Micro extension from the marketplace (1709.6.0) but I don't see the Teensy board installed. I also don't see any platform for Teensy.

Did support get dropped Cry , or do I have to install some additional board support? I've tried searching but can't seem to find any mention of additional installs.

Thanks

-John

Teensy changed to become compatible with arduino. Run the teensy installer and it should update your arduino ide install.

Make sure your visual micro "arduino 1.6/1.8" ide location is set to the ide you update with the teensy installer

Then restart VS or click "reload tool chains"

Thank you. Do you mean the Teensyduino install?

Success. Looks good, after installing the Win10 install, and restarting Visual Studio, the additional boards came up!

Build and flash worked fine as well.

Thanks a bunch.
