Vmicro do not recognize ESP8266 family (Read 1274 times)

	Both Visual Studio and Atmel Studio tries to compile projects for any ESP8266 boards using avr-gcc: Architecture Tools: file:///C:/Arduino/hardware/tools/avr/bin/ Projects for ESP32 compiled in the right way. Will reinstallation of ESP8266 package helps? I do not want to do this, because Arduino IDE behave good.

	Hi, Reinstall of 8266 using the arduino ide board manager might help and will not damage the arduino ide We should also ensure your visual micro config is correct. Switch on vmicro>compiler>verbose and "vmicro>compiler>show build properties" then click Build>Clean then click Build>Solution Copy the output into a new .txt file and attach to a post here or email to info[at]visualmicro.com along with link to this post Thanks
