Before logging an issue, please update to the latest release of Visual Micro from the Downloads Page.

When Logging a Support Issue in the Forum, please ensure you have also:-

  • Enabled vMicro > Compiler > Show Build Properties
  • Re-Compile your program with these settings enabled
  		Save the new Output to a Text File and....
  • Click the Reply button and attach as .txt file OR
  • Click here to Email us with the file attached, and a link to your post

upgrading to 7.1801.28.0

Down loaded from Microchip gallery latest release of Visual Micro.  Shut down Atmel studio and double clicked on the vsix downloaded file. Opened Atmel Studio and checked to see if indeed I got 7.18 installed, but I am confused whether I am lookin at version of AS or VM installed.   Help About shows version 1706.25.2 but I think that is AS.
How do I confirm that I installed correctly ?

Atmel are in the process of changing the gallery. Look in tools>extensions and updates for the microsochip gallery extension. Install that then restart the ide and use tools>extensions and updates to see which version of visual micro is installed and which is available.

Having trouble installing microchip gallery. Tried it several time on Windows 10 machine, installed with no problem on laptop Win 7 machine. ugh.
