how to update?

I have VM for AS7 just got the pro version.  I noticed the version if I check under AS7 Extensions and Updates says 1709.3.1.  Checking the VM website it says the latest is 1801.27.  I also read under AS7 Extensions and Updates that VM cannot update automatically, updates will appear on the Updates tab, but I don't see this menu option.  Can you tell me how to update VM?

Thanks

Microchip are messing with the gallery. Try installing the Microchip gallery extension in the updates tab and then restarting the ide.

Otherwise try running the install from the http microchip gallery.

If you do not use atmel hardware debug then visual studio is a better, more mature, solution
