Export a .reg file using regedit.exe from [HK_CURRENT_USER/software/visual micro]
If a licensed user then make a copy of the settings.xml that will be found in the following \appData location in windows explorer. (The "users" location might be different)
C:\users\[user_name]\AppData\Local]\VMicro
The settings in the registry are the global visual micro settings, items such as Arduino location. The registry settings are unrelated to specific projects.
Tip: The settings.xml can also optionally be in the windows CommonApplicationData folder which is normally [C:\ProgramData]\VMicro
NOTE: License back requires BOTH registry and settings.xml
NOTE: Please note that the license configuration is periodicially validated. Incorrect attempts to activate multiple machines outside of the allowed license limits using the same activation code will cause the license to become unusable.
