Title: ATTINY in visual micro Post by Trek19 on Dec 10th, 2015 at 10:12am
I am just restarting my development using visual micro having upgraded my computer and Visual studio and wondered if there is a new way of adding support for ATTINY boards. I used to copy files into the boards folder which was all a bit messy.

Thanks for the update.
Yes you can either use the Board manager or unzip into a folder below mydocument/arduino/hardware. The Visual Micro explorer provides a quick way to auto unpack a hardware core .zip into the correct location and you will also see Board manager and Library Manager tabs |
