Hi

the board update esp8266/Arduino core to release 2.4.0-rc2 (patch for WPA2 KRACK Attack) does not work together with Atmel Studio 7 and Visual Micro.

This update works well in the Arduino IDE. In the Atmel Studio 7 - Visual Micro, the esp8266 libraries are not found, even though the version 2.4.0-rc2 is displayed correctly in the board manager of Visual Micro.

Any idea?
