Title: Debug .c source file
Post by Greg Terrell on Sep 11th, 2019 at 6:11pm
Is it possible to debug (set/hit breakpoints) within a .c source file? I have a project with an .ino file and the only other source files is a .c file. I know there is a method being executed in that file, which contains a breakpoint (no continue) that is not stopping execution.

Thanks,
Greg

The usb debugger requires serial or ano other arduino object that don't work easily in .c files. .cpp files are best.

One option might be to use the Visual Micro hardware debugging instead of Software.
