What do I need to add to vMicro to have the Teensy 3.2 board available under the "Boards" drop down?

Hi

In general you just need to follow the setup guides for the Arduino IDE. The Teensy hardware is slightly different to other hardware cores in as much as it modifies an Arduino IDE installation. Visual Micro and the Arduino IDE will then show the Teensy boards

The Teensy software for Arduino is called Teensyduino and can be downloaded from here:-

Does this help?

You also need to ensure you entered an Arduino IDE path when prompted during first run. If you did not enter a path click the IDE Locations option and set the path for Arduino 1.6-1.8.

When editing your code make sure the Arduino 1.6-1.8 is showing on the Visual Micro tool bar or menu. If you use the NO IDE option that will not show your Teensy boards due to the fact that Teensy installs into an Arduino IDE  :)

ok, which path?  The instructions say to use the download path of the unzipped file.  Why wouldn't I use the installed path in C:\Program Files (x86)\Arduino?  I already have it installed with the Teensyduino added.

Ok I got it!  I had to use the program files location because that is where the teensyduino was added.

Thanks.
