Title: Plans for vs2022
Post by Eric J. Peters on Jun 23rd, 2021 at 12:56pm
Are there plans to support visual studio 2022?   I've been using the public preview, and already know I'll want to switch asap, but I will want the micro extension when I do.

Hi

There is a link to an alpha version in the new releases section of this gallery. It does not support hardware debugging because Microsoft have still to update their debuggers for VS2022.

There will be more updates shortly.

If you purchase a VS2019 license in the next 3 months, you will be eligible for a free upgrade to the VS2022 license.

We will be making the upgrade process available soon and will email, and update this thread when it is ready.

Hi Simon.

I did purchase a VM2019 perpetual license for 3 machines and got an email regarding the free upgrade. When I clicked it, it brought me to a page that said the offer expired.

I downloaded VS2022 and the VM2022 plugin. VM2022 didn't say anything about a trial. Does that mean I still got the free upgrade?

@KDawg The offers should be valid till end of year. If you email sales@ we will help with that.
