Title: Z-Uno2 (Beta) Fails to Compile
Post by Simon@Visual Micro on May 4th, 2022 at 10:41am
When trying to upload the code after successful compilation, and now I am getting a different error message which says:
Needed file "B:\VSMicro\Zuno\Z-Uno2 (Beta)_zuno2\Release\Zuno_ino_signed.bin" doesn't exist. Build the sketch first!
Error during upload using programmer
Needed file "B:\VSMicro\Zuno\Z-Uno2 (Beta)_zuno2\Release\Zuno_ino_signed.bin" doesn't exist. Build the sketch first!
I have never seen this happen before,

And I am not sure if this file is the file that gets generated when the compile is complete or not.

This is using v3.0.9 of the ZWave Beta core: https://z-uno.z-wave.me/files/z-uno2/package_z-wave2.me_beta_index.json

Please advice,

Roland

We have a fix for this available in the next release, we will update when this is available.

Reason Summary:
The issue is the INO file was not correctly cloned in the build folder (since version 2022.0218.01), which then means the zme_make.exe tool could not correctly build the project.
If you look in the build folder when vMicro builds the project, there is no INO file, nor is there any of the core.o/core.d files present, or the bin file which is required for upload.

The fix release for this is now available  (22.04.29-1) from the top of the below board:
