Should the selected Arduino programmer be saved against a project

Currently the serial port and arduino board are saved for each project. You will see in visual studio that when a project opens or becomes active the board and port selections change.

Should we do the same for the selected programmer? It seems that we only use a single programmer under normal circumstances?

It could be a very useful feature if the programmer was saved for every project. I sometimes work on two items at the same time (master and slave) and then I use the boatloader for one and the Avrisp on the one I am doing the most work. I will have both such projects in one solution. (When I use Eclipse).

so out of interest, are you saying that eclipse saves the programmer/port per project?
