Before logging an issue, please update to the latest release of Visual Micro from the Downloads Page.

When Logging a Support Issue in the Forum, please ensure you have also:-

  • Enabled vMicro > Compiler > Show Build Properties
  • Re-Compile your program with these settings enabled
 
Save the new Output to a Text File and....
  • Click the Reply button and attach as .txt file OR
  • Click here to Email us with the file attached, and a link to your post

Well, 

I think you are right about the version.
Add in can work properly if compiled for framework2.0 instead 3.5.


I'll be happy to test your library if you compile it for the 2.0 framework.
If you cant i can try to do it for you .

It is very easy. I don't think I have used any envdte components above 80 so it should just be a matter of selecting .net2 in the project. 

I will do a version this weekend, i do know that microsoft have been fixing bugs in envdte since 2005 so maybe some things won't work quite as well. 

+ The serial commands are more robust in .net4. 2005 and 2008 will crash sometimes when the serial is closing.

If the work is more complex , leave it !.

Vs2005 is very old, only me and few other work again  on it!

I'm started to migrate all my project to vs2008 platform.

But if you want to try compile it for vs2005 i'm very happy to test it for you.

Thanks, it probably won't hurt the 2008 build to be .net2.0. It is nice to know it can wait a while Smiley
