Can not upload a sketch to the Arduino UNO (Read 8332 times)

	I am using Arduino 1.0 . I can not figure out how to upload my sketch to my arduino. Thanks for your help.

	I struggled when first trying to use Visual Micro. I messed around with the menus looking for an upload button. Can't remember how I discovered F5. Perhaps there could be a message somewhere to prompt beginners? I agree that F5 is a good choice but it's not obvious to a newcomer since you're not actually debugging. Iain

	i agree. actually the right hand green arrow in the vs tool bar does the same. it's the button that many people will use to start other vs projects. start without debug also works. the idea being that we might soon have some debug options for arduino so we would need upload for debug and upload for normal. the new user readme does specify F5 but maybe there is somewhere else a note can be placed that will be read? let me know if you have a better idea.

	Perhaps an "Arduino" menu on the Project menu with an "Upload" item. All it did was F5 but would help Arduino IDE users who're expecting an upload button? That's what I was expecting to find when I first played with VM.

	Yes good idea and thanks for all the feed back. I was trying to avoid tool bar clutter but a menu item(s) would be good. If you get a chance to add a codeplex issue that would be great but don't worry if not. I find it hard to find requests in forum messages when to comes to fix stuff and often forget
