Before logging an issue, please update to the latest release of Visual Micro from the Downloads Page.

When Logging a Support Issue in the Forum, please ensure you have also:-

  • Enabled vMicro > Compiler > Show Build Properties
  • Re-Compile your program with these settings enabled
  		Save the new Output to a Text File and....
  • Click the Reply button and attach as .txt file OR
  • Click here to Email us with the file attached, and a link to your post
Support requests without the output above may be impossible to answer, so please help us to help you

Not sure how debugging works as far as breakpoints. I have some questions:
1- In my breakpoint operation there is no indicator as in a C# program on the red dot that the process got there is that correct? 
2- Expressions on COM5 is "Waiting for debug breakpoint data" What is this? Please explain.
3- Within the Serial Monitor I got "08:43:01.787 EcoXsavr.ino, line 115 setup()". Is this how the breakoint is acknowledged?

I have a pix of this action but there is no way that I see to attach the Jpeg to this message so you can see it...Is there?

Can you help me?

We have a permissions problem that prevents attachments you can email them to info [at] visualmicro.com

For the other questions... 

We do need better tutorials but I think the tutorials that we have explain all of your questions.

You can also re-read the page with the download instructions because it has the original crude instructions but it also gives you a link to  visualmicro.com which has many document in the Debug wiki section...

PS:
I have switched on your email notifications in your "User CP>Profile>Options". This might be less frustrating for you when using the forum? You can switch it off again if you don't like it.
