Before logging an issue, please update to the latest release of Visual Micro from the Downloads Page.

When Logging a Support Issue in the Forum, please ensure you have also:-

  • Enabled vMicro > Compiler > Show Build Properties
  • Re-Compile your program with these settings enabled
  		Save the new Output to a Text File and....
  • Click the Reply button and attach as .txt file OR
  • Click here to Email us with the file attached, and a link to your post
Support requests without the output above may be impossible to answer, so please help us to help you

Hi VM:

While setting up a new Solution VS 2012 kept crashing when trying to uplaod a debug session, and if it didn't crash the serial and expression windows would not open when a debug was uploaded. Took me for awhile to figure out why, but being a dummy I put the local speed of 57600 in the Local Port field by mistake. Guess for dummies like me there could be some validation checks of field entries to point to incorrect entries.

If you change the Local Speed it is not reflected in the Serial window dropdown, at least until the solution is saved.
