Library list too short (vs 2010 bug in some installations)

I am sad to report that VM inherited a Arduino IDE bug. The core library list under project->Add Arduino Library->core, is very short and does not show all available libraries in my directory.

VS provides little arrows at the top and bottom of menus that don't fit on the screen. The little arrows allow you to scroll the menu.

Can you see these arrows?

Here is the one at the bottom of my libraries menu in VS2010

Sounds like a vs bug. Does the mouse wheel allow the menu to scroll? This is an interesting but slightly different article

That patch is not applicable. I am not going to spend a lot of time on that now.

Oh and I humbly apologize, VM has no bug and is still the best Smiley

Oh. Well thanks for your support!

I will keep a look out for a solution but expect to move/duplicate the "Add Library" feature to the Micro Explorer.

This will make them available in a tree view along with their associated help and examples. A checkbox toggle will allow you to include/exclude them from the current project.

Same with many other features. I think it would be easier to access them all from one place. Sound okay?

That sound like a great idea. The Micro Explorer is the most handy tool that I have been using extensively since you implemented it. It is such a pleasure to do everything in one place. Before I used to have Programmers Notepad open and load the examples there. Now, all in one place - magic stuff.

Good to know that. I'll put some more effort into it.

Thanks

By the way if there are any libs that you frequently use in different projects that are off your menu then you can add them to a new menu or tool bar

http://visualmicro.com/post/2012/10/19/Customize-Visual-Studio-Using-Arduino-Mac...

All the libraries will be in the Visual.Micro macro list, same as boards and ports etc.

Bear in mind that all your customizations will be deleted if you ever, in the future, run the /resetaddin command.
