Visual Micro | General Option dialog missing scroll bar

Latest Visual Micro on freshly installed VS 2012.

Tools->Options->VisualMicro->General brings up the VM properties dialog but there is no scroll bar to get at config parameters further down than "Compiler".  Up/Down arrow keys work fine.

Strictly cosmetic.

Doh. I've been trying to fix this one for a while and thought I had nailed it in the last release. The scroll bars show correctly for me so I guess it depends on resolution but have been unable to force the screen to resize.

I will re-visit it later today! Thanks for the note!!

While you're up ...

In trying to 'resize' the properties dialog I was somehow able to pull the horizontal slider so far down towards the bottom of the dialog that it (the slider, that is) disappeared altogether.  This slider is the one you asked about yesterday, the one that, when pulled up, exposes the plain language tip(s) associated with the selected property.

Furthermore, the slider appears to be gone for good!  Closing and reopening the VM dialog doesn't bring it back.  We'll have to add Eidetic Memory to the Customer Qualifications.

As for resolution, I'm running 1920 x 1080.

Please send me a screen shot. Vm does not have any control over the properties tool window. It's a standard vs window, vm can just show stuff in it which means passing vs the property name, category, tip and value. (So no user interface control what so ever)

As with all vs tool windows you can drag or or it's tab to float it. Holding the CTRL key while floating windows prevents them from re-docking.

You can dock it so it has full vertical height of the ide and/or you can click the little "pin" to toggle between it being pinned or not.

Am I missing the point or do these tips help? Where is the window docked in your vs?

You're missing at least some of the point.  Screenshots may help and have been forwarded via e-mail.  From what you say this may actually be a VS bu... - ahhh - 'feature'

Oh I see. Yes were talking about different windows/property lists

Yes the size issue causes the options screen to loose a lot of stuff at the moment and will be fixed soon.

The "tips" I was talking about yesterday are the ones at the bottom of the project property window. That's the list that allows "(Micro Debug)" to be set to true. I thought it was those tips you couldn't see.

Thanks for the images

I'm running the same resolution on you on my machine and the size is correct.

I've just installed on another machine, also running the same resolution, and the size is wrong.

Sometimes I "love" Visual Studio Cry

Anyway it's for me to fix because all the other non-vm options are sized correctly
