No syntax colors in Atmel Studio 6.1

No syntax color what so ever when editing a arduino project. Everything is just black.
I just upgraded to 6.1. Reinstalled Visualmicro, too.
If I start a new C/c++ project the syntax coloring works just fine.
I have the "Arduino" menu under Tools though, compiling and upload to a arduino works like a charm.
What am I doing wrong?

Thanks for prompt reply!
I did run the visual micro installer several times, both for uninstall and re-install again, and the repair option. With no success.
Running Windows 7, 64bit. Have also VS 2008 installed.
Thanks.

Strange, the only thing required for color coding in Atmel Studio is a few registry settings, so it is difficult to understand why this would fail.

Using .pde or .ino files? Assume you are getting intellisense okay just not color?

Yes, I'm using .ino and .pde files.
intellisense works.
But no colors what so ever. Not even the ordinary C/C++ code in .ino files got syntax coloring.
