Intel Galileo Gen 1 Timer Interrupts?

Greetings,
I am trying to program timer interrupts on Galileo Gen 1 Board using Visual Studio 2013 with Windows Developer Program for IoT. It has a Windows image installed on an microSD card.
Despite I have read some technical documents about the board, I couldn't find how many timers does it include and how to program timer interrupts.
If anyone can help me to find a way to learn about the syntax and technical details, I will be very thankful.

Hi Rond,

It doesn't sound like you are using Visual Micro alongside the Intel Arduino Ide?

If you are using the Microsoft IoT extension then you will need to post the question on microsoft.connect

Thanks
