Uploading to board verbose output

Hello,

I re-visited Visual Micro last night and I am glad I did, the integration with Arduino IDE is much better than half a year ago and I really really enjoy Visual Studio.

What I noticed is that when uploading the compiled sketch to the board, Visual Studio will not provide the same verbose output as Arduino does. Some of my boards require manual resets and I use the output to coordinate these resets.

Is there any way to get the maximum verbose output equal to the Arduino IDE?

Hi,

Thanks for the post. I looked at your posts from last year and it appeared you had entered the ide location incorrectly. The errors were not errors that others were encountering at the time Smiley

Yes we will look at async compiler messages so that you can see them more easily. What is it that you wait to see prior to upload? What board are you using? Which Arduino ide name in Visual Micro?

Thanks

Allright,

Right now I have a few Sparkfun Pro Mini 328p @ 16Mhz that need the reset button to be pressed after compiling and before uploading. But any output that I could potentially miss is of value to me, I would simply like this option.

Thanks for letting me know, I will continue using your product. It works great.

Hi Fex

Understood.

You should see when the compile ends so i hope that helps.

Thanks

Ah, it turns out I needed to set the Verbose Messages option in the Tools > Visual Micro menu.

The additional output allows me to time my reset button press more easily. Thanks again.
