Visual Micro project file constantly getting checked out from TFS
Sep 10th, 2015 at 5:35pm

Any time I build, tiny modifications seem to be made to the "vcxproj" and "vcxproj.filters" files that force those files to be checked out from TFS. Can you make it so these files aren't being regularly checked out and changed (unless the change is legit)? Not a huge problem (I exclude them from checkins, but then I don't share 'real' changes), but still a hassle.

Thanks for the report. Yes this is on the list for the next week. It's annoying because you are also prompted to save every time you close the project

This still seems to happen with the latest build (1510.12). Constantly checking out project and filters files.

Hi,

I haven't forgotten but you reported it as annoying but not critical. During the past few months all ide's have changed, Microsoft, Atmel and Arduino so the priority is to produce a stable system again.

Once that is done this will be sorted.

Thanks
