Good day Tim

Updated to the latest. Still not right though. From my earlier projects didn't even want to compile correctly.

Please can you have another look.

See also screenshots included.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Hi,

If you jump into another users post please read the discussion comments. You will see that I asked you to create a new thread because the thread you used was for a user who question a single intellisense definition for fprintf. It is an entirely different issue to yours where you report intellisense does not work at all and compile fails.

It is important that each user has their own thread otherwise the original poster will not receive a clear answer.

It is also important that you have your own thread because it will be easier for you to read responses and questions that I make to you.

It is also important that you give information about which Arduino ide version you are using. The latest release fixed a problem for people using the arduino nightly builds which are not always supported because they are beta, can contain bugs and change frequently.

It is also important when posting issues that you take a simple example. Your current example contains two projects which confuses things.

So please confirm the basics?
Which arduino ide version are you using?
What folder name did you specify for it in the Visual Micro locations window?
Can you confirm that you left the optional sketchbook path empty?
Are you using the standard uno/avr core that is installed with the arduino ide or have you installed a new core via Board Manager?

Thanks
