Before logging an issue, please update to the latest release of Visual Micro from the Downloads Page.

When Logging a Support Issue in the Forum, please ensure you have also:-

  • Enabled vMicro > Compiler > Show Build Properties
  • Re-Compile your program with these settings enabled
 
Save the new Output to a Text File and....
  • Click the Reply button and attach as .txt file OR
  • Click here to Email us with the file attached, and a link to your post
Support requests without the output above may be impossible to answer, so please help us to help you

programing the arduino MICRO problems during upload

with a MICRO,, as Vis Micro is uploading its code to the Arduino, the MICRO gets disconnectedfrom windows 7 and then gets reconnected.

is something different on how the micro gets programmed verses say the UNO?

If I recall it uses a Leonardo style upload which means a message has to be sent to the board at a certain speed, causing it to reboot into bootloader mode which will have a different com port.

The arduino.cc forum is the best place for non-visual studio questions. This forum is really just to help people with the plugin. 

Sorry but I don't have the resource to help with standard arduino questions.
