In spite of having every setting I can find set to Uno I keep getting this...
avrdude: Error: Could not find USBtiny device (0x2341/0x49)

Can anybody suggest a fix?

Hi,

Sounds like you ticked "vMicro>Uploader>Always upload using programmer" by mistake.

I guess you just want to upload using the standard usb cable? That is not classed as a programmer. The Arduino Ide is confusing because it looks like a programmer is selected but it isn't used when you click the upload Smiley

Looks like that was it. Hard to tell if it's checked or not as it doesn't use a real check mark.

Thanks.

I don't think so. It says it's for A7 and I just downloaded it yesterday.

Oh, sorry about the confusion then I need to understand what you are looking at.

The image shows what I see on the vMicro menu with a clear tick against it.

There is also a button the Micro Programmer tool bar which should highlight when on. VS doesn't allow checkboxes on tools bars so it highlights checkbox buttons when on.
