Before logging an issue, please update to the latest release of Visual Micro from the Downloads Page.

When Logging a Support Issue in the Forum, please ensure you have also:-

  • Enabled vMicro > Compiler > Show Build Properties
  • Re-Compile your program with these settings enabled
 
Save the new Output to a Text File and....
  • Click the Reply button and attach as .txt file OR
  • Click here to Email us with the file attached, and a link to your post
Support requests without the output above may be impossible to answer, so please help us to help you

Again: VM_DBG.cpp : error: 'isascii' was not declared in this scope

For the past months Visual Micro (the debugger) has been completely useless. Every time I try to use it a different error shows up. Now it is, again, the "VM_DBG.cpp : error: 'isascii' was not declared in this scope". 

Is there any way to solve this? As far as I know, the latest versions of everything are installed here.

It's a good idea to post the verbose output as .txt

I think we will see that another tools is being used such as the tools installed with the standard Arduino Arrow board which are missing some definitions.

Deleting the rouge core will most likely solve the problem.
