Serial Upload after using ATMEL-ICE with MEGA2650 in JTAG mode

Hello everyone,
I'm trying to use the ATMEL-ICE with MEGA2650 in JTAG mode with AS7. Cheesy

Trying to fill and pour out the sketch with ATMEL-ICE on COM1 I have the following message:

avrdude: stk500v2_ReceiveMessage (): timeout
avrdude: stk500v2_getsync (): timeout communicating with programmer

But when I program memory directly with Device Programming can write to them. Sad
Thanks for your suggestions,

Simon

Yoy need to burn the bootloader using the vmicro>uploader menu.

Upload with device programming or a programmer removes the bootloader so no serial upload
