Hi,

Arduino 1.5 was released and superceeded a long time before the Esp was made.

Why have you used arduino 1.5?

Please install the latest arduino version (1.8.2). In Visual Micro remove the path you have set for Arduino 1.5 and set the path correctly for the Arduino 1.6/1.8 option.

Arduino latest version from the website. [1.8.2]
Specify the path to the IDE in section 1.6/1.8 and after Rescan choose a 1.6/1.8 and get this error message.
With section 1.5 and arduino 1.8 all works  Sad

I see thanks.

Please close the explorer so you are just looking at an open project

Ensure the Visual Micro tool bar or vMicro menu shows arduino 1.6/1.8 not arduino 1.5

Switch on vmicro>compiler>verbose and "show build properties"

Then build and email the output as a .txt file to info[at]visualmicro.com

Thanks

Okay thanks. Maybe caused by the unzip routine during hardware install. Did you use the arduino ide or visual micro board manager to install both times?

From MS2017, libraries does not install completely, just creates empty folders, but not all, and some files.

In other words, it setups 10% or less. for example: setup esp8266 board v2.3.0, folder "tools" not contains any file.

Maybe need wait some more.
Not bad if there would be a display of any information about the installation. For example "progress bar" or displaying %.

Sorry for my english, it is not my native language.

Thank you I understand.

1)
I will look to update the zip library we use to see if that helps in the next release.

2)
You can use the Board Manager in the Arduino IDE to install. Then click Rescan in Visual Micro or restart the IDE. Visual Micro and Arduino uses the same compatible system.
