Before logging an issue, please update to the latest release of Visual Micro from the Downloads Page.

When Logging a Support Issue in the Forum, please ensure you have also:-

  • Enabled vMicro > Compiler > Show Build Properties
  • Re-Compile your program with these settings enabled
 
Save the new Output to a Text File and....
  • Click the Reply button and attach as .txt file OR
  • Click here to Email us with the file attached, and a link to your post
Support requests without the output above may be impossible to answer, so please help us to help you

I'm a paying customer that has been using your pluggin for VS. While its been extremely useful, I really miss the single step debug feature of the regular VS environment. 

Future projects for me are going to be based around the Industruino Proto D21G controller. I've added a link below for more information. While its very close to the arduino zero, its not entirely a match and therefore has its own board definition file.

Can you help with configuring this board for GDB support? Your directions are way over my pay grade and I'll need help.

I've been really busy working on other projects. The process is a bit more than what I originally thought. VM works REALLY well for my needs. Down the road I'll pick it back up and give it a go.

Great.

When you get time. Debug should just be switching the tool bar from Release to Debug then uploading. That should build OK and pause at an example break-point

vMicro now supports a range of additional hardware debuggers out of the box, including the SAMD platform which should allow this board to work:
