Before logging an issue, please update to the latest release of Visual Micro from the Downloads Page.

When Logging a Support Issue in the Forum, please ensure you have also:-

  • Enabled vMicro > Compiler > Show Build Properties
  • Re-Compile your program with these settings enabled
  		Save the new Output to a Text File and....
  • Click the Reply button and attach as .txt file OR
  • Click here to Email us with the file attached, and a link to your post
Support requests without the output above may be impossible to answer, so please help us to help you

Cant find library include files after VM upgrade

Was running 1804.21.0.  Tried to upgrade to 1806.1.0 and projects that compiled OK under old version wouldn't rebuild - came back unable to find include files for Adafruit libraries installed via Vis Micro explorer / library manager.

Tried to change settings but no help - reverted back to 1804.21.0 and all worked ok.

Any suggestions?  I'm assuming that  its some kind of switch on library directories.  Note these libraries are loaded within my project directory, although one of the missing files was wire.h from the adafruit hardware library under the arduino installation tree.  see attached picture for the successful build verbose output.

Hi,

Please switch on notifications in the [urlhttps://www.visualmicro.com/forums/YaBB.pl?board=VS_ARDUINO_EXT_RELEASES]forum new releases sectio[/url]n so that you have up to date info. There is an update with a fix for non-standard Arduino library #includes. Those are #includes with path qualifiers such as LibPath\LibName.h.

Also when posting compiler errors please post the text and not screen image and try to post errors not working stuff. Thanks Smiley
