Before logging an issue, please update to the latest release of Visual Micro from the Downloads Page.

When Logging a Support Issue in the Forum, please ensure you have also:-

  • Enabled vMicro > Compiler > Show Build Properties
  • Re-Compile your program with these settings enabled
  		Save the new Output to a Text File and....
  • Click the Reply button and attach as .txt file OR
  • Click here to Email us with the file attached, and a link to your post
Support requests without the output above may be impossible to answer, so please help us to help you

Boards manager dont work if folder contain a period.

I have windiws 10 and a recent upgrade created a new user folder that contain a dot /username.a45efr/
When i try to install a new release of STM32 core  board manager try to create a folder under /username_a45efr/ and obviously. fail!!
I really dont know how to fix that!
Any idea?

You can move the c:\users\arduino15 folder to a folder below the arduino ide called portable

Or in tools>options>visual micro you can set the "Contributions Path" to another location
