Rebuild / Clean has no effect on "shared cache for cores"

Subject says it all - if using the shared cache option (isn't this set by default now?), selecting rebuild or clean does not affect the next build. When switching branches with Git, this can lead to very confusing effects.

Thanks yes it is under review but should still auto detect date/time file changes so auto drop.

Rebuild should not zap the core cache otherwise we can never rebuild without rebuilding the core. We are considering a new menu item that clears the core cache.

If it isn't right for you at the moment then why not switch it off vMicro>General>Shared Core Cache

Sorry I forgot to update this thread. In recent versions "Build>Clean Solution" also clears the shared cache.
