Windows 10
Visual Studio 2017
Visual Micro - Release 1905.19 - 19th May 2019 - Vs 2017-2019

With Serial Terminal window open and receiving data from Arduino Board.  Clicking on the Terminal Widow "Log" drop down and setting the log file destination directory (eg: "d:\temp\logs"), causes the Terminal & Visual Studio program to hang (traps with error), then OS closes Visual Studio.  The "\logs" directory did not exist at the time of setting the destination directory.

Thanks for the report. I am having trouble replicating this.

Can you please try to change the folder again to see if the issue repeats?
Please give exact vs 2017 version from help>about?
Was the serial comms active with debug or other data at the time? I have tried active and non-active.
Did the folder get created for you prior to crash?
