Before logging an issue, please update to the latest release of Visual Micro from the Downloads Page.

When Logging a Support Issue in the Forum, please ensure you have also:-

  • Enabled vMicro > Compiler > Show Build Properties
  • Re-Compile your program with these settings enabled
  		Save the new Output to a Text File and....
  • Click the Reply button and attach as .txt file OR
  • Click here to Email us with the file attached, and a link to your post
Support requests without the output above may be impossible to answer, so please help us to help you

Crash when Compiling / Uploading the second time within a session

Hey,

Visual Studio Crashes when i perform the Second Compile/Upload after Opening a Project.

Environment:
VS 2017 15.0.28307.705
Lang: German
uC: Self Made Mega 2560
Upload via: USB/Serial

The relevant Log Items are 1002 - 1004

Hi, we have had to move to an Async package due to enforced changes for VS2019. The crash is trying to set the status bar animation which we will look at but it might simply be that your Vs2017 is very old. Please run the VS2017 update and see if you still have the same issue.

My Visual Studio is Up to Date.

I don't know why it stated in the log to be 15.0, actually it is 15.9.13, and the Updater does not show any updates.

Oh I see. There is a 1906.30.2 version here that attempts to add some exception handling around setting the status bar messages and animation. Please try it.
