Before logging an issue, please update to the latest release of Visual Micro from the Downloads Page.

When Logging a Support Issue in the Forum, please ensure you have also:-

  • Enabled vMicro > Compiler > Show Build Properties
  • Re-Compile your program with these settings enabled
  		Save the new Output to a Text File and....
  • Click the Reply button and attach as .txt file OR
  • Click here to Email us with the file attached, and a link to your post
Support requests without the output above may be impossible to answer, so please help us to help you

Debugger Selection and Code Optimization missing

Hi all
I have a strange effect with one of my two VM installations. On my laptop all works well. On my PC, I can't get the Debugger Options for Debugger Selection and Code Optimisation. The topics are not available in the VM Extension Sub Menu, also I can add the toolbar, but nothing will shop up...
I use VS 2019 Community up-to-date and Visual.Micro.Arduino.Studio_1907_25_0.

What I'm doing wrong?

Thanks for the report.

There is an old property in "vMicro>General>Global Options>Gdb and OnChip Debugging>GDB Enable" which for some reason is set to False. Please set it to True and restart the IDE.

We will remove the property from the next release so as to avoid this confusion.
