Before logging an issue, please update to the latest release of Visual Micro from the Downloads Page.

When Logging a Support Issue in the Forum, please ensure you have also:-

  • Enabled vMicro > Compiler > Show Build Properties
  • Re-Compile your program with these settings enabled
  		Save the new Output to a Text File and....
  • Click the Reply button and attach as .txt file OR
  • Click here to Email us with the file attached, and a link to your post
Support requests without the output above may be impossible to answer, so please help us to help you

Visual Studio crash when opening built-in example

Hi,

I have an issue with my installation.
It works fine in general: I can compile and flash etc.

However, whenever I try to open a built-in example using the 'Micro Explore', the entire Visual Studio will crash and then restart when I click on an example.

Is this a known issue?

Visual Studio Enterprise 2019, v. 16.2.5
Visual Micro, v. 1909.27.0

Thanks, it will be fixed in the next release and is probably connected to the recent forced changes by vs2019 to be an async extension.
