Visual Studio (17 & 19) not building changes in files.
Nov 6th, 2019 at 1:23pm

This has been driving me absolutely bonkers and I cannot figure out what is happening. Anytime I make a change in a file that is NOT the file with main() [this is for a Windows commandline program.], I cannot get VS to build the changes unless I rebuild the entire solution file. The "Debug" dialog will even detect that there are changes, and when I confirm to build them, I still do not get any code changes. This is super frustrating because I have to rebuild the entire solution just to do anything. I've restarted the project multiple times with clean solutions, copying and pasting the code in to be 100% sure. I'm going mad, I feel like I've tried everything.

Are you talking about a Visual Micro Arduino project? They don't have a main().
