GDB Tutorial - Stepping

When I go to part 2 and delete all breakpoints, when the debug session starts, the only breakpoint is at loop(), and when I set a manual breakpoint F10 acts like F5. Also, Tutorial Mode is checked.
I've included a screenshot of of the VS session.

You are using the Serial debugger not GDB. Your report is correct for serial. You can see the drop down list on the tool bar that says Debugger: Serial.
