Visual Micro stops working after the trial ends (Read 3006 times)

	First of all, a happy 2020. I have the following problem. Until recently I used VS2017 with Arduino 1.8.10 and was able to compile for the ESP8266 or Arduino Nano without any problems. Since I have upgraded to Microsoft Visual Studio Community 2019 Version 16.4.2 and installed the Visual Micro plug-in 1911_28_3.vsix this is no longer possible. All items from the Visual Micro menu under VS2019 are gray (so Verbose is not possible) and I get error messages like "cannot open source file Wire.h" or "expected a ')'" in the (unknown to me) file gluedebug.h. It looks like compiling for the x86 platform. What am I doing wrong?

	Happy new year. This happens if you click close on the activation window. The window can be accessed again using the vMicro menu where you can start a 30 day trial or activate a purchased key.

	I have the same problem, but clicking on "start trial" give me an error. I have to use Arduino IDE to build.

	Yes, and it worked fine without some functions. Also add a class is not working. I tried to remove and reinstall but never changed.

	The trial doesn't limit any functions which is why it says "start full trial". After the trial the product needs to be purchased. Thanks

	Thank you for the answer. Iìm going to uninstall the product because now it is useless. Please consider update the faq where you state that the product does not stop working after the trial: it's not true! Cheers

	Sorry to hear that, the price is very low for personal use (less than 2$ per month). The change in terms was notified in the daily nag screen over 12 months prior to the change. Previously, users were asked to buy on a trust basis and after the trial the software continued to work allowing people time to switch to a different IDE. However that system was abused hence the price change. We have updated the main FAQ thank you.
